The disadvantages of staying with your mother:
I just got a text which basically says: "It's a beautiful day! Make sure you go outside."
And even in my head I heard it using C's "mother" voice. (And I've met his mother, she doesn't sound anything like it... but it's oddly satisfying.)
It doesn't help much that the cold I was starting to get at the end of my Scotland trip has landed on me like a ton of bricks (not entirely unexpected, but throughly unenjoyable).
