My Friends are Such Nerds
Sometimes even more so than me.
Facebook keeps telling me to become friends with various philosophers because I have somewhere between 10 and 20 friends in common with them. This includes Dante, Nietzsche, Heidegger etc. But today's suggestion really takes the cake.
Today Facebook suggested that I become friends with the Platonic Good because we have 16 friends in common.
Well Facebook. I may be a Classicist. And I may be a nerd (may - pfft!). But I will never be friends with the Platonic Good. Because I think that Plato is full of shit. Ha!
(With apologies to my friends who love Plato - which is apparently at least 16 people. Of course I'm not sure how many of them know about this journal. - Details...)
