It's far too large to be used to prop up my bookshelves. The ones at Blackstock must have been quite lop-sided. However it may have been used like that in the past as it's a nice used hardcover that was printed in 1966.
Don't have a Bescherelle???!??!!?!? What is the world coming to? I own dictionaries in six different languages and grammar books for most of those as well. My Bescherelle is so well used that its (supposedly) hardcover flaps around like a thick paper-back.
