FYP and Faith...

Yup. I am SUCH a heathen. I've always meant to read the Bible, because it is such a big part of our culture and problems and issues et cetera. But I never thought it would be so boring, tedious and at times idiotic. Especially since I absolutely loved reading the Epic of Gilgamesh and even more so the Egyptian texts.

Totally a heathen.

I'm actually dreading having to read Job next week.

Okay... apparently there's a problem with the cooling systems... so I'm going to have to turn off my computer now.

Hurry, flush the coolant or the ammo in your left torso AC-10 is gonna explode!

And as you read through the bible and assorted texts, just remember the rule of thumb ;-)

I agree. I also found/find/would find it hard to read because there's so MUCH of it, personally, and it's not even written in a particularly interesting manner. (If it were, like, epic poetry, I'd so be more interested. But NOOOO.) The Old Testament, from what I remember of it, is pretty ugly.

And you know what God in Holy Grail said about those DREADFUL psalms...

I should get you a copy of Good Omens. It's such a fun, tangential commentary. And, you know, it has the apocalypse in it.

Heathens unite! <3!
