Shows that I'm currently watching this fall, both new and old.
NCIS, Numb3rs, House, Heroes
Shows I'm having a Renaissance with:
Dark Angel (I know), Buffy, West Wing (although season five is filled with failure and pain, so it's kinda hard to watch), Battlestar Galactica
Sporadic list of shows I've begun to pick up like lint:
Dexter, Six Feet Under, Rome, True Blood
01. Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Stargate SG-1, Torchwood, Firefly.
02. Name a show you can't miss:
Torchwood
03. Name an actor who would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Steve Bacic, Jensen Ackles, Callum Keith Rennie, Paul McGillion
04. Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
... Ones that are bad?
05. Name a show you can and do quote from:
Stargate SG-1, Firefly. There are more but those are the main offenders.
06. Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
Star Trek Enterprise. I know. But it's just... I still like it, okay.
07. Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
Stargate, Firefly, Doctor Who
08. Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
Stargate is my True Love, but just about everyone's watched that so... Slings and Arrows, The Dead Zone...
09. Name a TV series you own on DVD:
Stargate SG-1, Angel, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica (the mini-series), The Dead Zone, Due South, Torchwood, House, NCIS, Farscape, Babylon 5, West Wing, Supernatural, Crusade, Stargate Atlantis (only for a few of these do I have the full series, but damn do I have a lot of DVDs. Also the world clearly hates me because all the SG-1 DVDs are on sale for like $30 and I paid nearly twice that when I bought them. Le sigh.)
10. Name an actor who launched his/her entertainment career in another medium but who has surprised you with his/her acting chops in television:
Summer Glau, she was a dancer first.
11. What is your favourite episode of your favourite series?
Life Boat in season seven Stargate SG-1. But that's only at this particular moment.
12. Name a show you keep meaning to watch but you just haven’t gotten around to yet:
(the rest of) Six Feet Under, Dexter, the Tudors, Little Mosque on the Prairie, jPod, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Blackpool.
13. Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
Not so much quit as not cared enough to keep watching. That goes for Stargate Atlantis, Supernatural, Star Trek Enterprise, Dark Angel, Eureka and a few others, but I do intend to go back to them. (In fact I'm going back to Dark Angel right now...)
14. Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
The West Wing
15. What do you eat when you watch TV?
OM NOM NOM!
16. How often do you watch TV?
Way more than I should.
17. What's the last TV show you watched?
Dark Angel
18. What's your favourite/preferred genre of TV?
Definitely SciFi, but I'll love pretty much anything if I fall in love with the characters.
19. What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
Stargate SG-1.
20. What TV show do you wish you never watched?
I have no regrets. I don't know what that says about my taste, but yeah.
21. What is the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Hmmmm... Probably Due South.
22. What TV show scared you the most?
The X-Files, but most of my X-Files watching was when I was a little kid. Speaking of X-Files I really have to go through that again. I feel like a failure as a nerd because I haven't seen every episode.
23. What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
Arrested Development
24. Do you prefer TV to films?
Yes. If you do TV right you can tell much bigger stories, and there's way more character development and world building.
25. Name
House and Wilson (House), Jack and Daniel (Stargate), Sam and Dean (Supernatural), Crichton and Aeryn (Farscape), Aeryn and Pilot (Farscape), Gibbs and Abby (NCIS), the Rays and Fraser (Due South), Jack and Ianto (Torchwood).
