Acronyms! I'm surrounded by Acronyms!

I've been dealing with a bunch of bureaucratic stuff which I've been ignoring since Graduation and I have discovered that NSLSC (the National Student Loans Service Centre) is far too close to NSLC (Nova Scotia Liquor Commission). So now as I'm reading about payments and being a good little girl and all that money and Student Loan business, what I'm really thinking about is beer.

Damn I could do with a beer right about now.

Also isn't it a shame that the NSLC can't be pronounced in some kind of cheeky way? À la Lick-Bo (LCBO - Liquor Control Board of Ontario) in Ontario. NSLC does make up for it by only being one letter off of the National Student Loans Service Centre though.

(Also also I was browsing through some Trek fic the other day and I saw one that was labelled KSU. And I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it meant because I kept thinking "King's Student Union?" Then I realized it was Kirk/Spock/Uhura. Acronyms are weird and confusing - but I kind of love them.)

Fucking OHIP. I swear it's harder to get a Health Card than a Passport. *Grrrrrrr* No more good mood for me.
