But!

He was my favourite.

Not impressed writers. First you start to make everyone sleep together, and now you kill off my favourite (after Wilson, but he's in a different category).

I appreciate the out-of-nowhere-ness of it all, and I can see that he was probably the best choice story-wise if you wanted to make a point this way - but still. He was super awesome. And they've been making the rest of the show turn into a soap.

I doubt it'll lessen the pain, but if it helps, Kal Pen's departure from House is actually because he's going to work for the WHITE HOUSE (http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/04/house-exclusive.html).

That is awesome! He is so cool.

The episode does actually make a really good point. I'm just sad because I'm not a huge fan of all the new places the show has been going this season. Oh well. I still enjoy it.

and it did prove that he was actually fucked up enough to make good drama.

Besides, it provided us with Wilson's diet and this week's awesome ending with House playing great piano. I don't think either of those are real spoilers ;-)

I try to ignore the soapy bits, but it's getting harder.
