Merry Christmas.

It's Christmas once again and for the first time that I can remember I'm not really feeling it. I got some great things from the family (the kind of stuff that shows they were thinking and not just trying to find something, anything to put under the tree) this afternoon (that's right, I didn't wake up until 10 and that was because![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
hobbitbabe was really excited and was already here by then).
I kinda wish that I'd gotten my Yuletide storylast week because that's when i was all excited about it and now I don't have the excitement that I should have for the story. (And I REALLY should have excitement because it's a good story! My author wrote Dead Zone Walt/Johnny for me with great vision angst. And I really like it (Thanks Santa!!!), I'm just not feeling the squee.)
(I'm going to blame hormones for that one because there's nothing like starting your period while opening presents and then frantically looking to make sure that you haven't already stained your new Wonder Woman underwear. Which, of course I was wearing over my pajama pants because that's what one must do with Wonder Woman underwear. And never fear the underwear was saved by the layers.)
Also I made mixes of music for the family this year and while I was doing that I was thinking about what I would put as a mix for me and kept coming up with music that I LOVE instead of music that describes me, so I decided that it's a futile idea to make a mix of music that describes yourself. What I am going to do is actually make that mix of music I love and then upload it (as soon as I figure out how) so that all of you lovely people can enjoy. It'll be a Holiday Season present instead of a Christmas Present, because I'm too lazy to make it up for right now and also I'm starting to be inclined to avoid the more Christmasy aspects of Christmas.
And shouts out tokuwdora who made an awesome list of House/Wilson recs for me over here which is AMAZING and tided me over in an extremely enjoyable way before the yuletide archive opened. SHe also made me a pretty wallpaper which is currently on my desktop. Thanks again Abby!
