SO I'm sitting here in bed... on the computer, eating Easter chocolates that I got from my most amazing friend in the entire world and her family. I honestly don;t really understand why and how the death of Christ got mixed up with Beltaine and various other spring fertility holidays. However, chocolate is ALWAYS a "Good Thing".
Yesterday I went to Dani's for Easter diner with her extended family. I've never had a formal-type Easter dinner before. It was fun. Amazing food similar to Thanksgiving and a tiny cousin (I think) running around terrorising the cats and wearing a poofy white dress.
Her family is great. They love me!!! (at least the ones that actually know me do) Which is totally cool and they gave me Easter chocolate and banana Pocky, a small stuffed bear and a "Milk Flavoured Confection" which will probabkly make up for it's little to no nutritional value by being tasty beyond all belief.
They're so sweet!!! Dani if you read this tell your peoples thankies again!!! And tell yourself Thankies too!
