Carolyn Small, a good friend of the family who's been fighting breast cancer, died this morning. And I really wish that I'd read Louise's e-mail about it after the FYP Paper Writing Workshop instead of before, because I think I could've gotten a lot more out of it if I'd been able to give it my full concentration.

In other news I've ordered a printer/scanner from the PCPC for less than I expected...
