Hello Democracy!

I went to a Rally today. I feel very political, and effective. I yelled "Shame!" and "Yes!" and "Coaliton OUI!" and "Rabble-Rabble-Rabble YES! Rabble-Rabble OUI! Rabble-Rabble."

I'm an Activist! (she says with a two-year-old grin.)

Too cool!

Our rally is two hours from now, downtown. I am at work, without my Ultimate Boots or a good warm hat. Also, with post-dental fatigue. Once I get home, I bet I won't want to go out again. So I think I am going to bail, alas.

We filled (about 3/4 chairs and the rest standing room) a room the size of a High School Gym. we had some good speakers and some okay speakers. And I heard Catherine Meade, the Liberal candidate from this past election, speak and she was phenomenal. She's also still quite young and I sincerely hope she gets a chance to be in parliament some day.

There was also lots of Media Present.

I was too sick to go and I don't know of any rallies here.

Ursula Le Guin encouraged us to "flail your handbags at the universe!" I agree with the sentiment but I don't have a handbag to flap around. My bookbag will just have to do.
