Volume

My roommate is watching something on her laptop with her earphones on. I can still hear it. Whatever it is. Not very clearly, but still. She has those iPod earphones that stick right into your ear. I can't help but think of what that volume is doing to her hearing. Those are the type of earphones that shove the sound right into your ears and they do the worst damage when they're turned up really loud. There's also been a time or two when I've had to tell her that her phone was ringing. I was listening to my headphones at the time, and I was probably five times further away from her phone then she was but she didn't hear it at all. It's very strange.

Very strange.

It's my Mum. She's started watching TV on DVD (specifically Babylon 5) on her laptop. It's amusing!
