I got back from Halifax yesterday. It was a good trip. Halifax is an awesome place and I ended up spending FAR too much because there were so many things that I wanted. It's dangerous being in the same city as a MEC. Honest. Anyway I did the tours of Dalhousie University and King's and I definately want to go there. It's so nice, and pretty and laid back. It's a nice relaxed attitude. And there's all sorts of pretty ships!!!
I like pretty ships. Can you tell?
Anyway. I should know by the end of April if I get in to Dal and/or King's. Cross your fingers. *picture Jonas crossing his left and right index fingers instead of the two next to each other.*
Our plane was supposed to leave at about eight Halifax time yesterday, but apparently the pilot was sick and it ended up getting delayed 'til eleven. And I had woken up at five thirty to get their on time. Sigh.
I'd organized for the Model UN commitee guys to meet at my house yesterday to do country assignments too. Thankfully I was able to get in contact with Louise and she was very nice and got a trustworthy friend to come and open the doors in case I couldn't get there on time. I ended up only five or ten minutes late. And only two people were there already. So now the countries are assigned. But we don't have enough people to have two Spec Pol. 's which means we have two extra DGs that we don't know what to do with. Fuck. Yeah, that really sums it up right there.
So. Life is weird. I REALLY want to go to Halifax next year. And Shit happens.
Huh.
