This Easter weekend I'm pretty sure I've spent something in the neighbourhood of ten hours working on this year's Model United Nations. Either with or without Dani. It's a lot of work. At times dreadfully annoying, shocking and/or stressful. But in the end it's worth it. There's a certain sense of accomplishment at the end of the day when you realise that this year's Model UN wouldn't have happened if you hadn't done the work you did. At this moment I have edited eleven topic papers. That means we have eleven topics that we can talk about at the Model UN. We usually have more than that and there are still some delinquent organizers who still have to hand their topic papers in, but we now have enough that if by some unusual twist of fate we can't get any others done we'll still have enough for the conference. Part of me is disappointed that I'm not the Secretary General this year, but if I'm entirely honest with myself I'd much rather be a Director General. It's much more fun to actually be involved in the debate. (Even if I don't get to point out my own oppinions) This year I'm going to be a DG in Special Political with Brenna and we have Dani, Geordie, Janet and Joanne in our council. It should be awesome.

I can't wait.

In case you don't recognise the userpicture, this is Isaac, the weird guy that Jamie used to hate but now likes. Go me.
