So I lied. But she made me do it really. If she hadn't asked exactly when I was leaving to go back to Uni then I wouldn't've had to do it. But she did. And I'm not giving up those few days that I snuck in there. They are very important for my mental health and for packing and for seeing friends that I may not see in another forever. The Treasurer would like me to leave twodays before I said I had to so that it fits with the pay period. This causes some issues for the time that the other two will be on. THis is not my fault but it's annoying that I have no idea when my two days off for this week are going to be and we're two days away from it. J also played the "but we're getting stuck with extra time" (which, I might add she thought was nice because of the extra cash) card when I was trying to set aside my days off. I tried to wait until they chose, but things are getting a little close to the mark if you know what I mean. I like to know when I'm getting a day off more than a day before I get it.

So life goes on, as it usually tends to do. I've been feeling a massive need for a vaction lately, mostly because of job stress due to evil co-workers, so I fiddled with my schedule so I could get three days off in a row. I doubt it'll be satisfactory, but it'll have to do. Only a month and a half left.

jenavira's flist has teeth problems" thread *grin*.) I have about ten billion cavities, many of which are under pre-existing fillings, which leads me to believe that my previous Dentist deserves a great big thank you (note the sarcasm there) especially since the same thing happened to my brother when he went to a new dentist. This also means that I have to use a floride rinse, because apparently brushing my teeth everyday and not eating or drinking much of the sugary persuasion isn't enough. The rinse makes my tongue tingle.
Also I just downloaded the first episodes of SG-1 Season 10 and SGA Season 3. ( Am filled with Stargate squee! )

No I am not going to start doing the cash twenty minutes before we close. Watch as five more people come in just moments after you make that ridiculous suggestion. I'm not going to do the cash twice, thank you, and I'm not going to turn them away. We're being paid really damn well to do a job. In fact we're still being paid to do that job. We get paid until 5.30 so that we have time to close up after the tourists LEAVE. I know that we usually start closing before five, and I'm sick and tired of being rude to the tourists while we do so. I know that some tourists are rude and terrible, but I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt until they prove to me otherwise. Starting to close up at five makes sense. I always tell the tourists when we're about to close, so after five they should be expecting us to be closing up. If they can't handle it then, it's their problem. It's not that I want to hang aroun the tower longer than necessary (with company like you who would?), I just want to do the job I'm being paid for. Let's consider please the 45 minutes every day that we get paid for time that we aren't at the tower, and let's not even think about the hour-and-a-hlf lunches that you guys always take. Is seven dollars extra too little to make you be polite?

Jul. 3rd, 2006 10:00 pmAm super tired. Still. Am very excited about upcoming days off. Right now 'm lying in bed and typing with one hand, which is frustrating but about as much effort as i'm willing to spend right now. Canada Day weekend working at a tourist attraction is busy. like wo.
I spent thelast couple of after works watching some TV on DVD that I rented. I finsihed Farscape and the first Series of the New Doctor Who. Nearly cried because Farscape is just that awesome, I'm tired and I'll never again have a new ep to watch. Also fell in love with Jack (Dr. Who... sorry for mixing fandoms, but tired).
Also watched to of the Season 1 eps of NCIS that wouldn;t download properly, thus renting was the only option. (sad I know) Oner of them was Enigma (where Gibbs' old CO goes crazy) and it turns out that Gibbs in a worn Carhart hoodie is a fantasy (now fulfilled) that I didn't know I had.
Other cool TV news: the season of TV that I'm getting from my Dad is Crusade. And because of a gift certificate and a sale I'm getting three seasons of Angel for what it used to cost for one of them. I will son own the puppet episode. And Galen.
